Questions, answered

FAQ about our courses

Still wondering if the BodyWise Way is the right fit? These quick answers might help. You can also reply to any email you receive from us with personal questions.

How soon after birth can I participate?

Postpartum recovery looks different for everyone, but because the information and exercises you are given are based on your individual assessment, you can start this program as soon as you feel ready. If you have any medical concerns, please send us an email to chat more.

Do I need to be experiencing pelvic floor problems for this to be helpful?

Not at all! This program is for anyone who wants to better understand their body and how to support their postpartum recovery, whether or not they're experiencing any symptoms.

Is this a workout class?

Not exactly. You'll learn about movement and strength and there will be gentle exercise, but this is about pelvic health education and postpartum recovery, so the focus is on learning to listen to the cues your body is giving you. This is not a traditional fitness class.

Can I bring my baby?

Our feeding course is built on flexibility and mental health. You’ll learn how to support breastfeeding, how to safely supplement or transition to formula if needed, and how to protect your relationship with your baby and yourself through it all.

When will my individual PT evaluation take place?

Individual evaluations will be scheduled separately from the four group sessions. Exact scheduling details will be coordinated between you and Dr. Emily.

You deserve support in the postpartum, too.

Come learn about your body, build confidence in your recovery, and connect with other new parents who are figuring it out right alongside you..
